This summer season, Marriot International’s Luxury Collection will make its Dodecanese debut with the opening of Patmos Aktis, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Greece. Following an intensive renovation, the resort is about to reopen its doorways on the golden sands of Grikos Bay in June, marking a new chapter for the island’s hospitality scene. A vacation spot acclaimed for its picturesque shoreline and non secular power, Patmos is fringed with conventional fishing villages, a distinctive volcanic panorama and secluded coves. Drawing inspiration from the island’s storied previous, Patmos Aktis, will supply a tranquil, timeless escape whereby friends are invited to foster a deep reference to the ocean and surrounding pure magnificence.

Reimagined by Stylianidis Vaggelis Architects and Anastassiadis Architecture & Design, all 56 guestrooms, suites and villas have been renovated, with extra guestrooms to be added in 2025. Led by Patricia Anastassiadis, interiors will mix The Luxury Collection’s genuine and experiential design with Patmos Aktis’ essence of serene simplicity. A soothing and calming color palette of lotions, whites and tender blue tones shall be seen all through the resort, complemented by native art work and conventional Greek craftsmanship to honour the island’s wealthy ancestry.

The resort may also welcome a new signature restaurant set to serve up Mediterranean delicacies with a modern twist, and a bar & terrace full with unobstructed views of the Aegean. Embodying the attraction of a conventional Greek taverna, Plefis Tavern boasts a prime location on the seashore with a menu of genuine Dodecanese delicacies and a recent redesign impressed by its seafront location. Mirroring the non secular power of the island, the resort’s elevated Spa will supply rejuvenating rituals and signature therapies designed to detoxify the thoughts and loosen up the physique. Each friends’ wellness journey will start with a balancing welcome drink flavoured with rose petals, adopted by an array of restorative experiences, together with mystical classes with Tibetan bells and sweetness therapies incorporating rose essence.
